Thomas Moore League President

 

League VP Thomas Moore        Councilmember Thomas Moore was elected to serve on the Demopolis City Council in 1992 and is currently serving his fourth term in office. Moore, who has a BS in Accounting from the University of Alabama, retired from the State of Alabama Department of Revenue in 2006 and is currently self-employed as a consultant. He is President of the Marengo County Chapter of Alabama New South Coalition; Treasurer of the Coming Together Organization, Inc.; and serves on the Advisory Committee for the National League of Cities Community & Economic Development Committee. Moore also serves on several committees for the City of Demopolis including the Personnel Committee, Public Safety Committee and the City Building & Grounds Committee, and is the Secretary/Treasurer for the Municipal Workers Compensation Fund, Inc. (MWCF) board of directors.
