Governmental agencies wishing to discuss non-credit card billing options should contact ALABAMA BACKGROUND CHECK (ABC) by e-mail at background@alacop.gov . There is also an annual subscription fee of $75 which is assessed by Alabama Interactive, Inc. to manage the Alabama eGovernment Subscriber Services.

affect municipalities.FTC Extends Deadline to Comply with Red Flag Rules to Aug. 1, 2009

As required by Act 2008-379, the Department of Examiners of Public Accounts has released the procedures for using life cycle cost analysis and reverse auction procedures. These provisions become effective January 1, 2009, and municipalities may begin using these standards for conducting reverse auctions and for allowing the use of life cycle cost analyses when making purchases.
